Krishnadevaraya College of Dental Sciences & Hospital is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi university of Health Sciences (RGUHS) Karnataka. The College, ever since its inception has been committed to excellence in education, research, patient care and community service. It is situated 21 Km away from the buzzing city, in a quiet and serene campus of sprawling 133 acres called Krishnadevarayanagar off International Airport Road.
The Institute offers the BDS course & MDS course in all 9 disciplines, along with a Fellowship Program in Implantology.

Every year, KCDS students have achieved academic excellence bagging top honors in University Examinations in both BDS & MDS categories, including 52 ranks & 1 Gold Medal in the RGUHS BDS 2021 Convocation Ceremony & 7 ranks in the RGUHS MDS 2021 Convocation ceremony. The institute has experienced & knowledgeable faculty, with a passion for teaching and research.

The Institute has, on its campus, Men & Women’s hostels, staff quarters, Guesthouse, Cafeteria, Outdoors sports facility spread over 12.1 hectares and an indoor games complex.

Hostel Facility
The institute provides hostel accommodation for students – both Men and Ladies who wish to stay in the campus. There are 5 Men’s Hostel Units, one for fresher’s and the others for seniors and 3 Hostel Units for ladies. Both hostels have round the clock security and the ladies hostel is located close to the staff quarters.

Library
The KCDS Library is a storehouse of information for students to take advantage of. A vast collection of Indian and International standard textbooks and journals are available for their use. The digital section of the library provides access to E Journals. The library also works for extended hours during the exams for the convenience of the students. An Internet Center with 80 terminals provides browsing facilities to all students.

Sports
We have some of the best sports facilities a campus can offer, placing emphasis on both indoor and outdoor sports with a Cricket and Football field, Volleyball and Basket ball courts. The Indoor stadium has a Badminton court and other games like Table Tennis and Carrom for students to take a well-deserved break from academics and unwind.

Banking & ATM
The Campus has Kotak Mahindra Bank branch in the premises for providing banking facilities to the Students and Staff members along with an ATM facilty.

Connectivity & Transport
The institute is connected to all the parts of the city by its own fleet of buses. In addition, students can access public transport & OLA & UBER facilities for their convenience.

Annual Day
Every year, KCDS looks forward to the cultural extravaganza, KrisDentz, a day to celebrate the uniqueness of all our students. This much awaited day is nothing but a platform to bring into line with our vision which is not only concerned with the scholarly development of our students but also the development of his/ her complete persona to bring out their hidden aptitude in the extra curricular spheres of life.

Sports Day is celebrated every year, marking the end of a month long sports & athletics events. Faculty and students look forward to this much needed break from the routine and participate with great enthusiasm and true sportsman spirit.

Graduation Day
Graduation Day signifies the culmination of many years of hard work in the relentless pursuit of knowledge. At the end of their academic journey, it is with pride that we see our students walking down wearing their graduation robes collecting their well-deserved degree from an eminent guest marking their entry into the world outside of the safe confines of our institution.

Festivals and Celebrations
In a multicultural country like ours, we believe in celebrating every festival, with students and faculty participating with great spirit.
Whether it is Onam, Ganpathi, Dasara or Christmas, the entire institution comes together as a family to celebrate these beautiful festivals, with students taking the lead and organizing them. Those students who are away from their home don’t miss out on any festivities, as we come together making them feel like it is a home away from home.
